Activities

The marina parties for the 2007 season have been fun so far, and we still plan on having even more fun at our upcoming events.

The June Pancake Breakfast at the Marina went very well.   The Stock Pot of Bay City served several hundred of our customers a great, hardy breakfast.

The Bay Harbor Marina Dinghy Run on July 14 was another big success.  We are keeping steady with having about 50 boats entering the Run.  Our customer, Robin Crook, provided us some great BBQ food after the Run. We would like to congratulate our customers Marv, Chuck, and Glen for taking the top three places at the Poker Run. Enjoy your prizes!

Also, a couple of weekends during the summer we have had a little lawn party, with the soothing sounds of local bands, and hot dogs and other picnic snacks. We still have a couple of local bands playing on upcoming weekends. On July 21st the Andy Coulouris Group will be playing, on August 11 Steve and Carl will be back to entertain us, and finally on August 25 Andy Coulouris will be back one last time.

The Customer Appreciation Party will be on Aug. 18 this year. The theme we are thinking about is Mardi Gras. Prime Rib and Chicken will be served for dinner by Walt and David from the Cross Bow Inn located in Grand Blanc, MI. Entertainment will be supplied by "The Jerk Water Town Boys" with a special appearance from the "Blues Brothers".  It can’t get much better than that!

All in all it has been a great summer for boating activities.  Hope to see everyone back next year.

Remember boaters!! Jeannie and I are always open for suggestions for these parties.  So if you have any ideas for different foods or theme parties let us know.  It's not too late to change menus or themes for the parties.  E-mail us Judy@bayharborbaycity.com
